We understand that starting at nursery is a huge step for children and parents. Following a visit and a tour of our nursery you will be given the opportunity to let us know your requirements, ask any questions, and discuss the individual needs of your child, including any dietary needs. Once you have decided that Sunshine is the best early years setting for you and your child, we will arrange pre-admission visits prior to your start date.

Pre-admission visits allow you to meet the team and gives you time to complete information essential to ensuring that we’re able to deliver the best care for your child; this information is shared with everyone caring for your child allowing us to plan, from the start, how we aim to best meet your child’s needs.

On your second visit you will feel more confident in leaving your child with us for a few hours while they start to become familiar with the setting, their peers and the early years practitioners with whom they will begin to bond and feel safe and secure with whilst you are away.

You are more than welcome to attend with your child for more visits as appropriate, ensuring that you are completely comfortable and confident in leaving your child upon their start date.
